Is anyone familiar with usage of the Employee Phone Book task within Employee Self Service?
It appears as though this feature filters the return results by company, status, etc. I had thought this task was intended to provide information on ALL employees, but it appears as though it only displays employees from the same Payroll/HR company as the employee doing the search. I don't mind it filtering out inactive employees, but it seems to defeat the purpose of an organization-wide employee listing if this is the case.
Any thoughts? Does anyone have a work around they would like to share with the community for this seemingly problematic functionality?
Thank you.

Split
A previous employer displayed multiple phone book and org chart options - one for US, another for international. I don't have the detail of what was done to display multiple companies, unfortunately. It didn't seem problematic for them -
