We are planning how to handle our reporting of W-2 related health costs. The new regulations require the reporting of company paid health benefits on employee W-2's. Since employees can request their W-2 30 days after termination, we are looking to see what others are doing to address this in January.
The areas we have identified as needs are:
Company Paid Health Coverage
On-Site Acute Care Clinic Costs
Retail Pharmacy

We asked Lawson about this and we don't expect to see anything until after the year end processing for this calendar year is complete. We are in PA and all resources seem to be focused on ACT 32. In the interim, we are going to dump the pay period medical deduction info with calculated employer costs. We probably won't need it after Lawson provides a solution, but capturing point in time data gives our Benefit folks a greater comfort level. Hope that helps.
