We applied an MSP and lost a customization which was not documented. In the direct deposit screen in ESS, we want to remove the magnifying glass. Has anyone removed the search from another ESS/MSS or non-COBOL screen?
Thanks!

The search box at the top of Portal for ESS/MSS is managed through the portal role. Is that what you are referring to? If so, go to Manage Roles, select the portal role you are using for ESS or MSS, on the general tab un-check Allow use of Search.
HTH,

We removed the magnifying glass "drill" from the Manager Self-Service Direct Reports. I just commented it out in the source $WEBDIR/lawson/xhrnet/manager.htm.

What is it that you commented out? It sounds like what I need to do.
