Application Filtering Question - IPA/IPD

Is the Application Filtering button on the user action node the way to do category filtering now in IPA/IPD?

Trying to find any documentation on the field and I keep coming up empty.

No, category filtering is still the same as in PFI, . Additionally, you've have to populate in IPA prior to UA's and emails

Application filter (pp 61 of Infor Process Designer Help, v 10.0.x, August 2013) says..."Application filter (AppsKey) - The triggering application can pass this field whic can be sorted and searched in Inbasket"...i.e. just gives inbasket users another way to sort items

In our setup:
LM AppsKey = Object Key Map in PFI (Logan)
LM AppsValue (also discussed on page 61 of the user guide) = Key String in PFI

I forgot to finish one of my sentences above...
Additionally, you've have to populate the Category Key, in IPA, prior to any UA's and emails. The Category Key appeared to be not required in PFI...we've never populated within our 13M work units before...however IPA requires to be populated, in addition to .
