Has anyone ever integrated LBI with the Portal Inbasket?
I found a 'how to' document on Lawson KB but our hosting company said it was for version 8 not 9 and that version 9 uses the web inbasket.
Then our new consulting company said the opposite. Web inbasket was for version 8 and portal inbasket is for version 9.
We want to use the portal in basket as the original consultant had modified AP32.2 for our approval process in design studio and it is not accessable in web inbasket.

You should use the Portal Inbasket. You can use HTM files or Design Studio created XML files for the Inbasket display. Whichever you decide to use, you would reference the filename in the Display Exec field within the UserAction node within ProcessFlow Designer.

If you want to use the modified AP32.2 form as your Inbasket Display you would need to create a Portal Page, add a Formlet, associate it to your custom AP32.2 form and add the data map to pass the key fields to the form. The saved name of your Portal Page would be the name you would use in the Display Exec field.

We have already modified AP32.2 with Design Studio. The process has been tested successfully using the Lawson Portal Inbasket. The problem is users must be licensed in Lawson.
I want to use the PFInbasket servlet from our LBI server (unlimited licenses) to access the portal inbasket. When I test this I get this message:
Configuration error. The ProcessFlow server address is not set.

You want to use the ProcessFlow Inbasket without logging into Portal? I'm not sure you can. When I tried to send a web call to the Inbasket from within an email for the approve or reject Actions I was still brought to a Portal login screen in order for the calls to complete.

Assuming you are using Lawson SSO as the LBI / EFS authentication option, and your LBI users are defined as workflow users, they are authenticating against Lawson SSO, and should be able to see the inbasket via a link from LBI.

Not sure I am asking the correct question.
I found a Lawson KB Article named "Integrating ProcessFlow with Framework Services " which states
In order for Lawson Reporting Suite to communicate with a ProcessFlow server, the ProcessFlow service application must be registered and the server’s URL must be specified.
• On the “Administrative Services” page, select “New Application.”
• On “Administrative Services – Register Lawson Application” page, select “ProcessFlow”
• On the “Register ProcessFlow Services” page, enter the URL including the port number for the process flow server. e.g.
http://PFServer.lawson.com:7084
• Give the service a unique name e.g. HR Processes
• Click “Register”
The 3 services will be automatically registered and will appear on the “Administrative Services” page.
Our hosting service says this only applies to LBI version 8 and we are on 9. They say to use WebInbasket.
Our consulting company says the opposite, Webinbasket only applies to LBI version 8 and we need the Portal Inbasket for version 9.
Who's right?
Our CFO will not pay for the extra 100 or so Lawson licenses for approvers.

I guess I did misunderstand (and I may be wrong about LBI SSO not working with inbasket). I thought you wanted to go from LBI to Portal and display the inbasket. As for what you're trying to do, those instructions appear to be from a previous version (1.x) of LBI.
