Pflow triggers outside of Applications - 8.0.3

I'm designing a flow that could be triggered from a custom Lawson portal web page (non-Lawson app such as a RQ10, PA52, etc).

This is 8.0.3 apps and environment so we can't use the stuff from 9.0.

I'm guessing I'd need to somehow call the Pflow API's to create the trigger.

Anyways, has anyone ever done this before in 8.0.3 (i.e. create a trigger outside of Lawson apps, in Portal?)
