We are entertaining the possibility of running Lawson in an LPAR or on a box with another application and was wondering:
1) Are others already doing this?
2) What is your experience if you are already doing this - good, bad or ugly?
We know Lawson does not support either scenario, but with the ability of today's server's being so powerful, and real estate becoming a premium, the business direction is to capitalize on space by purchasing large powerful servers and running many LPARs or Virtual Machines to fully utilize the ROI on the hardware.

I have a client who (via a certified partner) just set up LSF9 that way for dev & test. As far as I know they haven't run into any problems with it. BTW, Lawson does not support VMs for PRODUCTION, but you can use them for dev/test.
