i was talking to someone on Lawson Community that says this ESP 7 is now required before you can install LSF 9. Anybody else hear of that?

Kelly, I split off this part of your topic into a separate thread and moved to the LSF9 section, since others may want to have input.

Lawson's stance on minimum versions for LSF9 migration has been "current ESP", which changed from ESP6 to ESP7 once ESP7 was available.

The ESP requirement is really only for migration of users, jobs, etc. So one way around it is to have the installer copy your current environment, upgrade it to ESP7, and then migrate from that one...
