Has anyone moved an existing production environment on Windows to a new server platform without having to recreate security? We are in the process of standing up a new server and here was my preliminary plan.
Stand up new Windows server with 2008R2 Enterprise
install prerequisite software (NetExpress, Java, PERL, LUU etc)
Install WAS 7.x
Install LSF9.0.1.10 (same version as current production)
Connect the environment to the existing GEN and LOGAN databases from production
backup and restore our production LDAP instance to the new server.
install applications as a PL copy from production. (same PL names so security is right)
copy %LAWDIR%/print to new server.
What am I missing and has anyone made a similar move?
Thanks,

Is your previous server on the same version of LSF?

Hi Kwane,
Yes I will be installing the new server with the same version and patch level. My goal is to make the transition as transparent to oiur client base as possible.
