Multiple environments on Windows issue

Need some assistance here,

We're running Windows with a 9.0.0.x environment.

I've installed another 9.0.1.5 environment on the same physical server as the 9.0.0.x environment.

The UID of the 'lawson' user is different on the new environment versus the old environment.

Should not they be the same UID if the environments are on the same physical server?

I don't want to add more users to the new environment until this issue is resolved.

Has anyone have any guides or tips for installing a 2nd environment on the same physical server, in Windows?

Hi Thomas,

We have the same version of lawson installed in the same Physical server 3 times (PREPROD,UAT and DEV).
We use different ADAM for each of our environment.

If i remember back to the time when we were trying to transfer across users etc, we were told that the UID upto 4 were fixed and system defined (lawson was 2 and MSCM - 4 i think).

I have also checked and all three instances have the UID of 2 for lawson.

I am presuming it should work the same way even if its a different version of Lawson.

Not able to help on tips etc for the installation of a 2nd environment as we have allways got lawson to come and do the install for us.
