For a development reason, I want to remove/clear an existing field condition on a specific field in a Lawson-delivered table using dbdef.
Ok, so I'm in the table editing screens, and I'm clearing out the condition, and then try to 'save' the field. (I'm using F9 to delete each line in this condition).
When I try to save the field (by pressing Enter twice) I get the message:
"Incomplete Conditional Field, Cannot Save" at the bottom of the screen. Thus dbdef apparently won't allow me to remove the condition. This is using either the "lawson" or "root" ID.
Is it possible to remove an existing condition on a field? If so, how is it done? I would think that removing/clearing out the condition using dbdef would do the trick.
This is LSF9, AIX
Thanks in advance,
Roger
