We just completed the MKS removal and LUU install on our windows 2003 (sql 2005) lawson server (env 9.0.0.8)
We have noticed that when users print jobs to physical printers they are taking much longer to spool and print.
In prtdef we use a CAT command to redirect print jobs to a "virtual printer", so we can correctly format the final print job.
This process worked fine until the LUU upgrade, now jobs that print to printers are taking 5 to 10 minutes to finally process (usually 1 minute to print the job out at the printer).
has anyone experienced this ?
Anyone have any type of troubleshooting I can try ?

Andrew,
Since the PATH variable is updated when you switch to LUU, I'd confirm which cat command is first on your PATH variable and try updating your printer definitions to include the full path to the LUU command, for instance \luu\cat if C:\luu is the directory you installed Lawson's unix utilities in.
Hope this helps,
Thad

Hi
Yes I have tried using the following c:\luu\cat as the command line in print def, and it is still very slow. PATH is set to c:\luu
Called lawson and they have submitted a ENV. patch -My guess is that other users have had the same issue.
Just trying to find a solution, been waiting on lawson for 1 month.
