Who manages what in your shop?

LSF 9.0.2 / Apps 8.0.3.11 / HP-UX / Oracle DB

We are trying to get a feel for how the rest of the Lawson world manages their Lawson system.

Who takes care of maintaining / supporting:
*Application?
*Environment?

Hi Nicole;

For us, the Software Engineers suport both the Lawson Applicaiton and the Environment (assuming you are talking about the Lawson Environment, not the Unix Server/Oracle Database).

If our users have an issue, we will work with them to resolve. If its a bug, we will look for patches or fix the bug ourselves (if its a custom program). SE also do the download / install / Unit Test of patches (both Application and Environment).

After the Changes has been QAed and User Acceptance Tested, its move to PRODuction by a CM team. The CM team does the production migration.
