Removing a Role from Multiple User Profiles in LSF9

Does anyone have a way that a particular role can bve removed from multiple user profiles, removing only that role and leaving any otehrs they have in tact?

We had created a role and applied it to all users a while back. Now we've determined that role is no longer necessary and would like to reomve it from all users.

Has anyone ever made this change, en-masse, for all users?
