I know green is full access, red is no access and blue is conditional.  Never saw a table completely greyed out.

Screenshot? I think I know what this may be, but I want to be sure I'm visualizing the same thing you're seeing.

Karen: I know this is a month or so old... You cannot use "Quick Reply" to add attachments.
You must hit the "Add Reply" button, and then it SHOULD bring up a spot for attachments.
