Hello,
For the life of me, I cannot successfully connect a Lawson QuickStep Crystal Report to my data source.
Out of the box, the data source is set to rock.lawson.com.
I preview the data, it prompts for parameters (which I fill out) then it prompts for data source, username and password.
I fill in the data source credentials that I want to use and I get the following:
"Failure to retrieve data from the database.
A failure occurred during the generation of schema information for the command."
I have a suspicion that it has something to do with the commands created by Lawson OLE DB, but I don't know OLE DB/Query Builder well enough to say for sure.
Any thoughts? I'd appreciate it greatly!
Thanks,
Erika

try launching oldb independently and connecting to the data source. If you are successful connecting put in your query and try to retreive 5 rows.
I have often solved issues with oledb reports by installing the latest version of oledb that is out on product downloads. Always remember to uninstall before installing the product.
Hope this helps.
