I have a situation where I have a manufacturer part number that needs to be changed. I make the revisions in IC11; However, the new manufacturer's part number listed in some of my par locations (IC12) remains the same. Should a change in IC11 not have a global effect? If not, is there a way to make a global change?

IC12 grabs the manufacturer information from IC11 when you first add the item and then completely ignores the changes. You have to use IC330 to change the part numbers for the inventory locations and IC331 for changes to the par locations.

To change part numbers globally with IC330 - use the following parameters:
Main Tab: Company/Company Group and a report group with ALL locations and Item
Change Field Tab: Change Field: Manuf-Nbr (Table ITL - make sure you select this one and not ITE)
New Alpha Value: New part number

All other fields and tabs leave blank/default. Submit the job and check your print manager for any errors.
