LBI plug-in as home page-Want search box, favorites, etc.

We are currently setting up Infor 10 / Ming.le foundation and want to set the LBI dashboard as our "home" page for users. We have a large number of links to forms/reports/utilities configured on the dashboard which we want the users to have immediate access to. The LBI page can be accessed through the "brain" icon on the Infor splash bar.

Currently the Infor home page (globe link) has Bookmarks, Favorites and the Lawson search box and we would like these available on the LBI dashboard page.

I tried opening the LBI page in the portal window but you end up with 2 "splash" bars, the standard Infor splash bar with Bookmarks, Favorites and Search below the navigation Icons, then the LBI dashborad below that with its own splash bar. Combined these 2 splash bars occupy about 1/3 of the height of the browser window.

The LBI page does not have Bookmarks, Favorites or Search as an option as we have it configured. Does anyone know if it is possible to display these items on the LBI page?
