Hello,
I'm new to Lawson. I work with addins while maintain the Item/Vendor Masters...
Every once in a while a special character gets loaded into the Lawson database
that is not on our excel worksheet or it is hidden. We make every effort to copy and paste
using Puretext and we remove spaces but these characters are still introduced. I wanted to know
if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to resolve the problem.
Thanks.
Allison

We haven't seen this. What is the source you're copying from?

The data was copied from and excel worksheet and pasted into an excel worksheet using puretext. Our buyers use an excel worksheet to submit Item
Adds/Changes to the ItemMaster. Often they copy from internet sources and paste directly into their worksheet and we copy and paste into a new worksheet
using puretext. This does not happen often but every once in a while. Just thought it may of happened to someone on the forum...
Thanks for you help!
