Has anyone run into needing to change the veterans categories in order to complie with new government regulations? For example it looks to us like we need to have a category of "Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran". I think I can just do this in DBDEF however it would be nice to have an official patch from Lawson on this. Here is where my users are getting their information on this.

Thanks.

Have you opened a case with Lawson? Usually this type of update is treated as a regulatory requirement, which they are pretty responsive to making available via a CTP.

Yes I have opened a case with Lawson. At first they were not going to do anything unless I got a more official announcement from the government or something like that. Thats the point at which I posted here although to be fair I should have followed the case because the Lawson help person did a short while later discover that there was a PT opend on this. The PT number is 170871 but according to Lawson it is a very low priority but it will be available for the required filing.???? Let me check in with Lawson this morning and see if I can get clarification. When we get the correct data added I will probably want to do an Employee Self Service page for this so that employees can enter this data themselves.
