Using ProcessFlow for 'Job in Recovery' Notifications

hi all

Trying to find the original pdf file which has some details about how to do this.
Does anyone have a copy or can send some instructions on how to do this- as i would like to try and implement a similar system especially as we have just implemented EDI processing to run every 15 mins (3 separate jobs) and would like to track any errors immediately

can i check something else - when i am trying to use the query builder I am not seeing the GEN (can only see LOGAN and PROD)?
I am using the "Lawson Query" object and then clicking on Build to build the query?
Any thoughts

Hi Saurabh -

Are you using the EDI Notifier - the MailAgent.sh file on CommServer? You can configure this script to notify a list of email recipients for EDI Failures; most clients I've worked with send email to their pager or mobile phone.

It works pretty much instantly.

EDI notifier would only notify for the ED501/ED502 though - not the input programs like MA540, MA531, PO536 et.al.

Thanks Rob. We do use the EDI Notifier. However i find that the notifier seems to stop after an error email is trigerred and is then having to be manually restarted?
Also this will give us facility to monitor other jobs also which are not part of EDI
