Does anyone know if Lawson provides support for an LBI installation on a vm?
Any experiences, documents, statements from Lawson that can be accessed on support.lawson, etc...??
TIA,

Lawson will and does support an LBI installation on VM. (at least I know they do for test/development), not sure if they've switch their stance on production LBI. We have both our test and prod LBI instances running on VM. (as well as both instances of MSCM)
GSC may make you produce certain problems on a physical box installation, but I have not seen that happen. We've had both instances on vm for several years already, and haven't seen many problems.
Check out the installation guide for specifics. (I can't find a mention of VM in the Infor10 install guide) and the latest updates I can find on the KB are from 2007....

Here is the response I received from GSC.
---
"LBI does not have a Minimum requirement to run on a VM..."
---
This was followed up with some recommendations as to the minimum version of
LBI, blah blah....
I'm thinking this is about as close to an official word as I can expect
from Lawson re vm's.
