I am trying to publish a Crystal Report in LBI and schedule it to export in excel format to a network share. This seems like it would be a simple and popular request, but I don’t see the option to do this. Does anyone have any experience in this, or know if it’s possible Thanks

Is anyone out there using API and have upgraded to the Laborworx version (API .NET) We are trying to create a JDBC connection to the database, and cannot any longer. When I open LARGE reports in IE, it opens the blank page. But other browsers like Firefox and google chrome open the report in pdf format. Any idea why IE is not supporting the large PDFs

We just recently had our LBI SSL certificate expire and have had all kinds of issues updating it. We followed a user guide provided by Lawson but to no avail, then we hired consultants to help us out and they were unable to fix the problem. After several days of working with them, they were finally able to tell us that the issue lied with our certificate being 2048 bit instead of 1024. I have a crystal report published in LBI that has a hyper link to open another crystal report to obtain detail. the detail report opens in excel and works fine, but when i go back to the main crystal report and try to click to the next page i get an error 'unable to process your request'. The crazy thing is that the correct reports reappeared in LBI some time later when I logged back in. The only thing I did int the interim was create space to back up my Lawson Documents and look for posts on the issue. I was concerned that there was an issue with a corrupt Lawson Documents file and created a back up copy of the file but now I don't see any thing out of the ordinary. The LBI folder that should have been deleted is gone and all the other reports are displayed again in my LBI...

Users have stopped using the report because it can take from 30 seconds to a minute to open the report - there are about 8,500 lines in the report. Hi, When viewing the report in Crystal, date parameter is correctly displayed as ddmmyyyy following the viewing locale setting as UK. However, when the report is published to LBI, the date format becomes mmddyyyy (US format). Both system and user locale in LBI have been set as UK but there is no change. We are evaluating publishing Income Statements in LBI that are drillable to lower levels. Has anyone tried this I am wondering if sourcing from RW would be better or going directly to the Lawson tables.. also, not sure how drilling would work.

Our RAS server, which resides on our LBI server, was configured so the 'LogOn As' setting was set to the LocalSystem account. All of our LBI cyrstal reports were running fine, but reports that were modified (even slightly) and redeployed were failing. Infor isolated the issue to the RAS server. Changing the 'LogOn As' setting to use the lawson AD account resolved the issue. I'd prefer not to use the lawson account, but I'm not sure what type, rights, etc. of an account I need to set up. ...

Hi, My LBI report has one dynamic parameter. The parameter comes from the DEDCODE table. I also have the DEDCODE_DESCRIPTION included in the parameter. When I run this report in LBI, the parameter screen prompts, but the drop down that displays each deduction code is missing.
