Within a File Channel, is it possible to point the Error File Directory and the Processed File Directory on a different Windows file server?  Right now I have the location as:

    • D:\Lawson Data\HR Separation\errors
    • D:\Lawson Data\HR Separation\processed

What I would like to do is put them on a different windows VM, something like:

    • \\windowsVM\Lawson Data\HR Separation\errors
    • \\windowsVM\Lawson Data\HR Separation\processed

The latest documentation I have seen says that those folders need to be on local IPA server.
Haven't tried it, but you might be able to use a mapped drive that is always visible to the process that owns IPA.
Or you could use another flow to watch for them and move them, although that gets into some cyclic redundancy
Lastly, I use (and highly recommend) a simple product called Syncovery; it includes a number of features for file watching, moving, etc. etc.; it can do just about anything with any type of connector (UNC, FTP, SFTP, local files, S3, Azure, etc.)
You can set it up to watch a local folder, have it move the files from \processed to your UNC, and move the files from \errors to your UNC and email someone as an alert when one is found.

Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!
