International Payroll Taxes

I worked for a company that paid people in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia to name a few. We had expats and local hires and paid in some cases local currency and some in USD.

I can't stress this enough: if you're using Lawson and you want their pay to be correct and the local payroll taxes correct, you need to use ADP or Ceridian or PWC or some other third party to handle the pay and the payroll taxes. We had an army of internation tax people and the international payroll tax stuff still slipped through the cracks.

But to my knowledge, no, what you're asking for does not exist.

Although this post is over 3 years old, I'm wondering if there has been any progress in this area.  I've talked to our Lawson Account Manager (Salesperson) and Lawson apparently abandoned the thought of being a "Global Payroll" company some time back when they couldn't get a market share in the U.K.  If there is a product similar to BSI/TaxFactory that will calculate payroll taxes for other countries, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
