DB2 related question

    Hello Forum, sorry another try, but wording my question in a different way. Does it matter to S3 apps if the database underneath has things like table compression turned on, or HADR (high availability clustering) turned on? In theory it should not, but any experience is appreciated.

      A while ago our DBA tried out an Oracle real-time backup utility tool of some kind. It ended up slowing down database response and slowed down Lawson. Fortunately it was just on the DEV box. That's the only thing that we saw. By the time he got it over to TEST and PROD, he had it configured right and it no longer slowed down database response.
