ET530 - Payroll Time Record Interface
**Form Purpose
Run Payroll Time Record Interface (ET530) to update Payroll time records from
Lawson SA. You update payroll time records separately from activities.
ET530 interfaces time records from the ETTIMELINE file to the Lawson Payroll
application (for employees) and to the Lawson Accounts Payable application
(for consulting companies).
The Time Record Options on the Data Selection tab apply only when running
ET530 for Time Records. These options do not apply when you run ET530 with the
Consulting Co option or with the Adjustment Time Records option.
When you select the Time Records run option, you can also define a pay period
date range, assign a Payroll batch number (if the HR company does not use auto
batch numbering), and run the program in report mode or update mode.
When you select the Consulting Co Time run option, you can define the number
of close day on the Consulting Co tab. This will normally be the same as the
close days defined for the pay periods in Services Automation or Time
Management. You will want to use the same number of close days because a
timecard can still be updated until the pay period is locked. All timelines
for a timecard must be interfaced together, so you want the pay period to be
locked before you interface it to AP.
The invoice number needed in AP is defined at the timecard level, not at the
timeline level.
When you select the Adjustment Time Records run option, ET530 verifies that
the original time record has been processed through PR197 before interfacing
the adjustments to the Lawson Payroll application. For more information on

**Processing Effect
This program interfaces the Services Automation or Time Management employee
time records to the Lawson Payroll Time Records file (TIMERECORD), and it
interfaces the Services Automation or Time Management consulting company
records to the Lawson Accounts Payable Invoice file (APINVOICE) and the
Accounts Payable Distribution file (APDISTRIB).
