TF10 and PA School District taxes 6596 29
Started by Jason Beard
Applied 9.0.1.10 and upgraded tax factory to v10 and our Local PA School District taxes are not being withheld. In the BSI client I went through the tax locator modeling and BSI correctly returned both the local county and school district information. Similarly, enabled debug in Lawson/BSI and ran a PR80. the output log shows a calculated tax amount for the school district but none was withheld.
Is there anyone with employees in PA that have upgrade to TF10 or a...

We are doing a bi-weekly payroll and benefits are taken each payroll. If an employee is eligible for benefits on 2/1/2015 but doesn't actually enroll until 2/15/2015, the number of paychecks left isn't calculating correctly,it is calculating from their eligibility date and not from the date they are going through new hire enrollment. I had this fixed at my previous employer but I don't remember how I did it. The cycles start at 26 for the year. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

IRS Lock-In Letter (PR14.2 vs PR13) 1110 0
Started by Karen Ploof
We found that when we add a lock-in letter for an employee on PR14.2, it changes the of exemptions on PR13. And if we change the exemptions on PR13, it updated the value on PR14.2.
My belief is that we should be able to have an employee whose lock-in letter specifies 10 exemptions, submit a W-4 for 6 exemptions and be in compliance.
What am I missing that is making Infor force the exemptions on PR13 and PR14.2 match

PGEMPLOYEE - Employee Groups Not Populating 1824 6
Started by Orlando Gray
NEWB here. Back in November we ran into an issue adding new Employees in Lawson. When employees were added to one of our companies (Company 10) in HR11, they were no longer being added to any employee groups. All employees hired are generally added to quite a few employee groups. This began happening in the middle of the day on a Monday. We tried recompling HR11 and HR55 but that did not help. Has anyone set up their vacation/time off program as an allotment in Lawson. We currently have our set up as accrual for hourly employees and annual allotment for salary employees. We are having issues with LP145 with the recalculations of the FTE changes that happen with our salary employees, LP102 with date changes in HR11 and LP140.
The problems are the LP145 is working on adjusting the FTE changes but it is adding a new month of allotment for some employees which I do not want it to do.

Started by Joann F.
Anyone facing this situation where the employee will have a pretax 401k and aftertax 401k Roth deduction and the company limit looks at both deductions combined to determine the match
Note the deductions are taken at the same time but different deduction codes.
We do not use Lawson Benefits module

PR00 Asterisk disappearing 865 0
Started by Bernie R
We run 2 PR140 jobs with the process level option for independent process levels. We run 1 PR140 job for our dependent process levels using processing group. We can verify that the PR160 jobs for both independent process levels completed successfully. During the last 2 payrolls, when we check PR00 for the independent process levels PR140 and PR160 show all asterisks. When we are ready to run PR197 for one of the independent process levels the next day, the PR160...

Printed Benefits Enrollment Confirmations 875 0
Started by TBonney
Has anyone made customizations or know how to suppress the 'Print' button displayed at the end of the benefits enrollment process within ESS
Because we have public kiosks at which employees can do their benefits enrollments, our HR department does not want employees to be able to print the elections confirmation. They fear the potential of employees leaving the printed information at the printers. Their concern is, in part, due to liability issues that may arise if employees l...

HR06 Error Message - Cannot inactivate; active Time Records exist 1204 1
Started by Mike
I went to HR06 today to inactivate a job code we are no longer using. However, when I changed the Status field from 'A' to 'I' and clicked Change, I got an error message reading 'Cannot inactivate; active Time Records exist' and was unable to proceed. Has anybody else ever received this message, and if so how did you navigate around it Thanks!

XMIT in PA52.3 909 0
Started by electricalbox
Excuse my ignorance with the system, but what can I do in PA52.3 to rid myself of the 'must inquire before using this function code'
I've already formatted and entered in the HK field, but the problem is unlike other PA52 areas there is no _f4,XMIT-HREMP-BLOCK. I just have XMIT-Curr & XMIT-ACT-EXISTS
Thank you for your help
