We run the RQ500 program every day at about 6:30pm and PO120 for Pyxis orders. Then we run the ED501 to transmit orders via GHX to the vendors. We have the WH130 scheduled to run every 15 minutes and the users have reported the run from 6:00 doesn't print/send a report. I looked in the job log and shows there aren't any data to report. I am clueless as to what could be causing this issue as the users used to get the pick list report about 15 sheets every morning at 6am. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you check the outputs to verify there actually is something to print? I have similar calls about our post 7pm pick sheets and it's always turned out that the report was empty because they are filling the pyxis at that time and no new picks are being generated.

Hi Kat, I checked in the log from 6:15am and it says no data to process. We process the pyxis interface file at 5:35pm and we have the DH130 run every 15 minutes.

I opened an incident with Lawson and it's more confusing. They told me to look in RQ10 and if the create po = Y, then the orders will not go to WH130. But we have been running this jobs for years and the users have been getting the report for years. There hasn't been a change other than pyxis upgraded the Med stations and server.

How often are you interfacing data from Pyxis to Lawson? Every 15 minutes or only at 5:35 am?

Hi JonA, we are interfacing data from Pyxis to lawson once a day at 6:45pm. We used to interface in the mornings at 5:35am.

You've verified that RQ500 is converting the Pyxis data into requisitions and it's set to release requisitions? Just so I'm clear on the issue, you replenish the Pyxis cabinets from your storeroom and also direct from the vendors? So you're running WH130 to process inventory requisition lines and PO100/PO120/ED501 to process the nonstock lines and send POs to the vendors through GHX? Any problems with the nonstock items getting to the vendors?

Do you have the pick3.rpt set to automatically print? If you don't and run WH130 every 15 minutes, the report would be overwritten the next time it runs. However, you can reprint the picklist if you can determine the batch from the requisitions created by RQ500. If you interface data from Pyxis at 6:45 pm is RQ500 run immediately after? Earlier in the thread you said it ran around 6:30 pm. Then when is the next WH130, 7:00 pm?

Yes, the pick3.rpt is set to automatically print and we run WH130 every 15 minutes and yes the report is overwritten. Yes, 7pm. We had the network create a temp job this morning o save the output from 6:15am and there was data to report. He printed me a copy of the file. So could it be the printer that's not printing the report somehow?

One of our users reported a printer/copier changeover and the print queues, could that have anything to do with that? I am not sure what he meant by change over.

If you can drill down on the requisitions created by RQ500 to get to the shipments then WH130 is running and processing data so you could be right and there's something wrong with the print queue. I know we've had times when the queue goes down because the printer attached goes offline for some reason. Verify that the queue is correct for that printer and it's up and running and you can print to it via Unix command (lpr -P [queue] [file]).

I am drilling around on the requisition created by RQ500 but I don't know where to look for shipment and where can I find the batch numbers to reprint the pick-list?

Drill on the req number or req line (see attached image). This is for inventory lines only.

The batch can be found by entering the shipment in WH130. Drill on the shipment number and click on Shipment Processing Information.

here is what I see (attachment). This morning it printed one page but it wasn't a pyxis item.

And this one item is nonstock which you can tell by the folder called Purchase Order Information. RQ500 didn't create a req from the Pyxis interface data this morning?

RQ500 created 29 requisitions when it ran last night at 6:30pm.

Ok! Let's drill down on one of those reqs, find a line that has a folder for Shipment Lines to get the shipment number.
