After a user submits a General ledger report, they are able to view it while in the print queue.

What particular files do they need access to in order for them to drill around the report while it is still in the print queue.

It depends on what data you want them to see. You will have to dig around a little to find the actual files/fields. The drill in the print manager uses the same security as a drill on a form would.

Right, I did know that it was access to certain files, What I need to know is how do I find out what files are being used so that I can give them access.

The people I want to give access to are auditors, so they should be able to see everything and anything in the General Ledger.

I also know with the forms you can right click on the field you want to drill around on and it will open the Drill Explorer, which will tell you what files are being used. Again I need to find out how to determine all the files that are being used for drill around on the General ledger.

Do you want a set of specific files or just wide open access?? To find the files specifically, I use the OR files and the references specified. There isn't really a list of all the files needed to access all of GL.

I would start with granting them access to GL files and go from there. You may be OK. Are you on LS or LAUA?

I am using LS. I think I will go with granting all files, just to be on the safe side.

                    thanks Matt
