    Greetings,

I am currently completing my PhD in IT Management. In my real job I support Lawson, and figured a dissertation on ERP would be relevant. However, I do not want to study my own organization, given my own connections and deep-rooted knowledge.

That said, I am looking to do a single case study on a single organization which as implemented an ERP. I am styding the impacts of user participation in the project on the HR data component. The ERP must also have used some sort of HR data repository. Further, the project needs to have had users engaged.

To that end, I've been networking and looking for an organization to participate in said research. I plan on interviewing 12-15 people, including project managers, change managers, users, project team members (analysts/programmers), and HR managers.

If anyone can offer any ideas or tips, I would be greatly appreciative.

    Thank you,

    Martin Gibbs

    Martin,

Would a single study be sufficient?

What would be interesting is seeing a company who installed an ERP system successfullyvs. a company who had major issues. The difference usually comes down to client participation in the project.
