we discovered an employee that received gross pay =$4.55.  No employee 401k deduction was calculated however a 401k employer match of $.18 was calculated.  Our PR05 for employer match is set up as percent of the 401k pay class.  If I try to change the calculation type on PR05 to percent of employee deduction, I get a warning message Changing Calc Type may cause unexpected results. We don't want to create new BN15 plans or deduction codes.

Has anyone successfully changed an existing match from fixed % to cumulative?  I appreciate any and all ideas.

Our set up is similar to yours, Bernie. Although the matched employee deduction is on the PR05, we had to ultimately use a custom calculation to ensure that the match was never more than the employee's because of the pay class. Unfortunately, it won't help if you try to change from a fixed percent to cumulative - ours was already set up that way.
