I need to come up with the first pay date following a variable date. Does anyone know what table the pay period beginning and ending dates are stored in?

PAYMASTR... This would have both the check date and period end dates. However, this would be the history of pay and not future pay dates. (You would need to calculate the period begin dates.)

** Additional note/follow up: we do not do adjustments any date payroll wants we date them so that I could look for any paycheck falling on a Friday. If it is a Friday check then it is a regular payroll. (we only have bi-weekly payroll - crystal and java have day of week formulas/functions.)

          Try PROTPAYPRD or PROTWRKPRD

            Tommy:

I just went through this. I used the Date & Time Processing 4GL APIs in combination with run dates and override dates to identify beginning and ending date buckets.
