We are trying to determine if we should upgrade or re-implement when we move from 9 to 10.  Has anyone decided to do a re-implementation rather than an upgrade?   What were your reasons behind this?

We are actually doing an evaluation of whether to stay with Infor or move to a different ERP. If we choose Infor we will do a re-implementation. This because the way Lawson was initially implemented appears to have been piece meal and therefore not good. Re-implementatoin will allow us to implement best practice based on what we know now, rather than implement the old set up that is not the most effective.

Due to a limited timeline we opted to do the upgrade and not a re-implementation. We were not able to show a strong ROI on doing the re-implementation versus the upgrade.
