Is it necessary to run other module purges if you run the GL300? Our GLTRANS table is getting large enough where IT is asking about the possibility of purging/archiving it, but no mention has been made of purging/archiving any other module. Anyone care to share experiences not purging/archiving all modules at once, or about carving out information without uing Lawson-based programs?

Do you post to GL in detail? If not, chances are there are more transactions in your subledgers (PO, AP, etc) than in your GL. If it a space issue, archiving only GL may not free up the space you are looking for.
