Does the current version of Crystal Reports allow a data modeler to connect to disparate data sources and create a data layer of abstraction or business view for the enterprise so that business users can access the data they need through a single metadata layer? If so, is this "business view" accessible to business users through the web?
If you license LBI, is there still a single metadata and business view? I would appreciate any input/feedback from anyone that has had experience with stand alone Crystal vs. Crystal as a part of LBI so that I can understand what components are present in each suite?
