The parameter values are set dynamically in the crystal report correct? If you delete the parameters from within LBI (Details link on the report -> Modify Parameteres -> check all parameters -> click Delete) do you still get an error? This will force LBI to use the out of the box parameter page from SAP/Business Objects. LBI doesnt support 100% of the functionalities of Crystal Report parameters so if you are doing more advanced parameters you could run into problems.

If youve written custom code to create a parameter program thats gunna be a bit more complicated to troubleshoot. Please start off by posting code snippets you feel are relevant.

where do i go to delete the parameters.
some of the reports will pull the values through some wont.

i believe this was caused by installing sp2 on my laptop and that pretty started it all

Ok, so when you say dynamic parameters you are referring to settin that up in the Crystal editor right?

          > go to LBI
          > click on My Reports (you can also use the Reporting Service Administration page if you prefer)
          > click on the details link next to the report in question
          > on the left in the middle of the page if where you will find the section to work with your parameters

Just go in the there and remove them, run the report. If you dont get any errors you know the problem is with LBI. if you still get them then it would be with your report.

Let me know what you find out.

          Thanks,
          Matt
