Help! This was working yesterday and stopped working today. Also yesterday another analyst and I were looking at setup screens but do not recall clicking or changing anything. There have been other Lawson issues and a company firewall change that went in. Also, the custom group that these employees are members of was strangely missing from all the reports that used to have it in the Users lists. I added it back and that did not resolve the problem. There's also an attribute called HR that was assigned to each report and it's also strangely not available but viewable in the report attributes. When I try to edit the viewable entry it has no options to change or select anything. If I try to edit the report and add the attribute again, it does not let me. Any ideas?

Is the report list one of the default lists or one that was created manually?

This error just means you dont have permissions to the list. Based on all the other issues youve noted it sounds like there was some tinkering with groups or permissions.

any chance these reports and the list were a part of a solution pack? if a solution pack was applied a second time it would overwrite any changes that were made after the initial load.

        Hi Matt,
This report list was created manually. I don't think these were part of a solution pack. Ths custom user group and attribute are named HR. Someone may have fatfingered a setting, I just don't know which one.

        Thanks for looking into this

could have just been the users permissions were removed. Edit the list and add the user/roles back in. Youll need to add the attributes back to the reports that were supposed to be in the list. Im skeptical that one change would cause all these issues so you may want to look at your log files to see if there is anything suspicious.

            Hi Matthew,
Thanks for sending me in the right direction. It's something we hadn't touched in over two years and didn't know where to go to edit the list. Lawson help desk eventually steered us in the right direction. I was using the people icon in the screen rather than the small "Edit List" link in the far upper-right corner. We're fine now. Just wish Lawson's screen designs were more consistent.
