    Hopefully someone can refresh my memory...

    I seem to recall there is a combination of keys (CTRL-SHIFT) that will display information about the particular form you are using in Portal.  I thought there was a DME query in there.

    I have a need to create some data for our Controller.

    That is the letter o.  This will show you what table a field is associated with in Lawson.  Is that what you mean?
