Has anyone ever delved into making the portal passwords expire?
Lawson hasn't thought of this (yet).. or not that I know of.
But here's the catch, when a ldap password expires, Lawson doesn't tell them that
their password has expired, it just comes back with "Invalid password or login id" if you have
that feature enabled. Else it just comes back with the infamous red boxes.

Can anyone provide any help or insite into this? A way (or a wrapper) to go around the login page, saying
your password will expire in.... kind of thing?

    Thanks,

A while back I did do some work for a client where we built some ASP pages for password management; you can do an LDAP query to find out their password expiration (http://support.microsoft....id=kb;en-us;323750); if you have Design Studio, you could create it as a little portlet and you could put it on the portal page--however, you couldn't put it on the login page that way. I guess you could probably modify the login page, but the problem is that you don't know who the user is until they login...
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!
