Hello, we recently cleared out inventory for a location but there are about 40 items left in the inventory that need to manually be cleared out of inventory. If the item has stock on hand but no allocated quantiy I have been going to IC21 and issuing out the stock. this works fine.

The problem is when there is stock on hand, say 20, and this stock on hand is also allocated out,(all 20 SOH is allocated) IC21 is not working for me. So basically I cannot mess with the inventory on hand if it is also allocated. I also tried to go to IC24 and issue the stock back into the IC12 inventory but this didnt work either.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Did you try to delete the allocations on WH20?

Yes I tried that and it issued out a SOH but the allocated QTY stayed at 20 so it looked like this in IC12

        SOH 19
        Allocated QTY 20

If it allocated, you should be able to open it on WH20 by deleting the allocations - then going to WH25 and canceling the backorder. If it didn't ship - you'd need to go to WH30/WH32 and Finish or Walkthru.

It sounds like there is a second req or the item is WH25.

You were able to delete the allocation on WH20? If your WH110 or WH130 runs before you clear your inventory then it will re-allocate your item and you'll have to delete it again. This may be a timing issue.

"Delete" is misleading. We use FC- C (Change) put 0 in Allocated Qty and click Change on the header. Then go to WH25 and use FC- L (Cancel) and click Change on the header there. Once the backorder is canceled on WH25, we've never had an issue with WH130 seeing it again.

Below is the process I typed up for our Regions to complete if they happen to have an Allocation they need to get rid of.

                    WH20
                    1. Change Allocated QTY to 0
                    2. FC - C
                    3. Click on Change

                    WH25
                    1. FC - L Next to the Backorder
                    2. Click on Change
                    3. Confirm by right clicking on the Lawson Item Number and Drilling Around
