We have a bulk cart order that has the wrong Accounting unit listed on the Line Detail tab in PO20.

Where does the Account info get pulled from? I'm not sure where I need to make my correction so that when the bulk cart orders are placed (via MSCM wireless) the correct account unit appears on PO20.

      Hi Bev,

Check the RQ01 for the requesting location indicated on the line.

Also look at the GL category on the par location (IC81) either at the header or line.

I checked the RQ01 and the wrong cost center had been added when the record was built.

Jon, I don't have access to the GL screens in Lawson. If having this access would be beneficial, what GL form would I need?

            Hi Bev,

We don't give access to users to update RQ01 and this detail is maintained within the Purchasing area. It should be reviewed ongoing as when par carts (IC81) are added, it automatically creates the RQ01 and you will need to enter the account unit they are charged to. Also, when a "COPY" is used in IC81, if it is being copied to a different account unit, this will need to be updated in RQ01.

I think John is refering to the GL Category code in IC81, we do not use this functionality but it refers to the table set up in IC04. Depending on what detail you are looking for, this could be beneficial to have view access to.

Thanks Stephanie! Our RQ01 access is limited to a select few in Materials as well.

Thanks to you and Jon for the feedback and direction!

Are either of you planning on attending the Infor Winter Showcase in February? I was thinkging about going, but I also see there is another convention scheduled for September. I've never been so I'm not sure which one would be more beneficial from a Supply Chain perspective.

              Any thoughts?

I've never attended any of the showcases but next September will be my third Inforum.  I really enjoy the conferences, it's a lot of fun and knowledge thrown at you though!  I have found the customer lead sessions, and networking with other users has been the most beneficial to us here at Baystate.

I've never been to any showcases either. Are they different from Inforum? Are they specific to Lawson? I've attended Cue/Inforum four times - 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2013. And I've been to a few of the regional user group meetings. Sometimes those are more beneficial than the big ones.
