We are having issues with locking down premium pay for our employees within Lawson and Kronos.  We are thinking it's the way we were built when we converted to Lawson in February 2016.  We are a hospital, so we have employees working around the clock.  We are trying to make sure that employees who are not supposed to get shift differentials do not get them.  We are utilizing that Work Schedule option on PA02, which tells Kronos if the job is eligible for the shift diff.  I was wondering if other hospitals or round the clock organizations have a different way of doing this?

Also, how do you handle on-call pay?  Right now, the managers or timekeepers input on-call pay for their staff, and it's not restricted.  So essentially, an employee who's not eligible for on-call pay could receive it if their timekeeper accidentally inputs in their Kronos time card.  Is there somewhere in Lawson that can help with this issue?  We received input from another local hospital that is on Lawson that used PR24 to manage on-call.  Is this what others are doing as well?

    Thank you in advance!
